Monte da Balaia is located in the centre of the Algarve, between the town of Albufeira and the village of Olhos d' Água, approximately 400/500 meters from the beach of Maria Luisa. The two bedroom luxury apartment is superbly located and can sleep up to 8 people. It has 1100 Sq Ft. of living space and a large south facing terrace (600 Sq Ft) with all day sun, it has 4 sun loungers and patio furniture ideal for relaxing and sunbathing and also for your al-fresco evening meals. It is approx. 30 minutes from Faro Airport, a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Maria Luisa beach, only 200 meters from a good selection of restaurants, 10 minute walk to the supermarket and the local market place where one can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and fish and it is only a 5 minute drive/taxi ride from the Old Town of Albufeira with it‘s extensive range of restaurants, bars and busy nightlife. This extremely large apartment has an entrance hall, a large lounge / dining room with a 32” LCD TV, DVD player & state of the Art Surround Sound System, 2 sofa beds and patio doors opening onto the terrace; a spacious fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, electric oven, fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, Juicer, iron and ironing board and a CD Player / Radio; it is very well lighted and has direct access to the outside terrace; there are 2 good size bedrooms with 2 single beds each but these can be joined together to make a double bed. The master room has an ensuite bathroom and there is a shower room with a shower cubicle. Linen is provided; Towels provided; Beach/Pool Towels provided. Property is cleaned and towels/Linen changed once a week; Sorry, no pets are allowed. The apartment is air conditioning and is suitable for disabled. The complex has a large adults swimming pool a children’s swimming pool, tennis court and is close to beaches and local amenities.The nearest beach, Praia Maria Luisa (about 400 meters), is a Blue Flag beach as are the six adjacent beaches which are all within a 10 to 20 minute walk. Marie Luisa beach is a beautiful, safe stretch of fine sand about 500 meters long, has it’s own beach restaurant/bar, Life Guard in season and with sun beds/shades available for hire. Watersports are also catered for with boats and windsurfing equipment available. Monte da Balaia is very well placed for access to the Algarve’s many fine golf courses. Next door to Balaia Golf Village which has it’s own 9 hole course and driving range, within a 5 minute drive of Pine Cliffs and within a 15 minute drive of the 5 courses at Vilamoura or Salgados on the west side of Albufeira, between the beaches of Galé and Armação de Pêra.
